The best I can come up with at almost midnight!
This is Thomas Harrison, the latest addition to the family. Born at 21:54 on 28th May to my wife’s niece Emma and her husband Keith. Congratulations to them both.
When my first son was born I was handed one of these desk calendar pages by my colleague at work which displayed the date for his birth. We still have this page and the saying for that day was so apt for the occasion, and summed up how my wife and I felt at that time. It read:-
‘A baby is God’s opinion that the world should go on’
I have never forgotten those words.
